hi
i'm a london postie just coming up to 20 years and have never witnessed the farcial goings on as we have today, we're being lied to at national level, false promises of bonuses, less work to take out ,etc. this is then echoed by management at local level who are either blatantly lieing as well or have been brainwashed. our office has no white trainers one week then ok the next. bag weights not so important now but could be in future as could cycle helmets or they might not be, who knows. what about the 6 month pensions consultation. who would bet on anything positive coming out of that for us. all these crazy savings proposals are to help bridge the pensions deficit so it is us that will be paying when it is them that took the holiday.

Spot on mate. It's obvious what's coming - they'll want us to work longer, increase contributions, and cut pensions, and they call this consultation. This is after they told us last year that our pensions were secure. They are nothing but liars and conmen. Would you buy a used car from Leighton or Crozier?
