CVC Private Equity outfit - that crippled the AA

Post by norbert »

Unfortunately it's a straight choice between the serial tax dodgers in TNT & the private equity vultures that crippled the AA .

CVC cut the former mutual's workforce by 3000 , whilst they paid their senior management bonuses , put the prices up for stranded motorists whilst response times lengthened .

CVC partner who became the AA CEO , Tim Parker is known as private equity's prince of darkness . So it appears this what New Labour's " Prince of Darkness " has in mind when he speaks of bringing " a breath of fresh air " into the Royal Mail management culture , that according to the Hooper Report ; lack the expertise to run a postal operation ? & by his Lordship's own admission are from a deficient gene pool ?

Dammed if we do, dammed if we don't. Whatever way we turn we are screwed. Or so they hope. Let's just not co-operate with anyone.
Is the ad for the RAC at the top of the page just a coincidence?

Mandy is looking for someone to " sort the union out " , there's a lot of bad feeling going back to the 90's when New Labour were in opposition , too many postal strikes bringing back memories of the winter of discontent - possibly scuppering New Liebour's chances of getting in .

Mandy wanted privatization along with B-Liar but would had to face a back bench revolt , so everything was fudged with the free market ideologues Postcon and the DTI's Stephen Byers wanting :lfo 's Walmart " union avoidance experience " .

That failed so it's Plan B :hmmmm - :mfo A very bitter , dangerous and vindictive Europhile

Now that Norbert, sums Mandy up perfectly.
