A delivery driver on an e-bike was caught on camera casually riding down the motorway near Birmingham.
The shocking footage shows a large Royal Mail lorry having to slow down on the M6 before overtaking the bike as it cruises along the slow lane.
The driver, with his hood up, can be seen in mobile phone footage that was posted on Facebook just after 7pm on Friday, November 21.
According to The Highway Code, it is illegal for e-bikes to be used on motorways. They are permitted on other roads provided they meet specific requirements and their top speed does not exceed 15.5mph.
The 31-second clip has sparked a flurry of comments on social media.
