Rotation

Post by Shaugi »

Manager called me on saturday....due to the great job I've done on my duty I'm being rotated on monday to cover a duty that the reg was on d/o sat/mon.

I'd spent most of the week taking tracked, 1c, specials and boxes on my own duty and 1 or more others. They'd covered my own duty on my d/o but the cover hadn't taken anything that involved stairs.
So saturday I took a weeks worth of mail for the only road with stairs involved, 1c, specials and tracked...and still cut off. But did such a great job I'm being rotated :chuckle

Rotation is onto a double framed duty that starts next door to the DO. I highly doubt it'll be cleared as Saturday it wasn't thrown in and I don't know it at all.

Do this. There are no prizes for being a hero.

It's an HCT round so defo with a trolley.

In the end one of the RDC offered t oswap wth me cso he knows the double frame and I know a bit of the round he was covering.
Ended up taking out 3 days worth on anotehr HCT round and clearing it with a little O/T.

Done 2 duties of tracked/special/1C or double bubble on various duties all week with O/T. Only way anything gets done cos the legacy contracts don't even attempt to clear their own duties.

Sounds like you’re in a good position here, ask this manager to drop you a few hours overtime in for all your good work nudge nudge wink wink.

To be fair I've had some overtime every day whilst doing double deliveries :whistle
