A THIRD man who is accused of being involved in a plot which saw £70,000 worth of items stolen from a parcel hub will appear at Sheffield Crown Court next month.
Tinel Manolache, from Wigan, was employed by Evri’s depot in Hoyland Common.
The 44-year-old was charged with one count of theft by employee for his alleged role in a scam which saw £68,436 worth of customers’ parcels stolen.
Ilie Nicolescu, 23, previously pleaded guilty to theft at a hearing at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court and was given a 12-month jail sentence while 38-year-old Valentine Cocoras received the same sentence following his guilty plea.
Manolache’s case has been scheduled for trial at the court on September 10.
