Royal Mail Have Lost 2 of 3 Parcels, 3rd is unaccounted for

Very frustrated with RM, I've never had it so bad with them before. I was expecting 3 parcels to be delivered to me w/c 17th February. Two have been lost and one has had no scans in almost a week.

RM have confirmed the loss of these two items after claim opened and a DO serach.

1. DF239843232GB (Signed For) - Two Delivery Attempts on 17th Feb/18th Feb - Several redeliveries requested to no avail and not at CSP.
2. KD653406052GB (Signed For) - Just the single delivery attempt made on 18th - Same as above, no redelivery attempts

This one is unaccounted for with an invesigation open.

3. TQ691491042GB (RM48) - Scanned as Ready for Delivery on 22nd Feb but never went out for the walk according to CSP and Customer Support. Redelivery requests have failed too.

That's about £300 worth of items lost/unaccounted in a single week period to a single recipient. How on earth could that even happen?

I've since received three different parcels this week as well...

The first two items were attempted delivery late in the afternoon. That's not your regular postman time, but more likely to be the late afternoon parcel delivery staff. I suspect the 2nd item was bundled together with the 1st when you were not home on the 2nd attempt. I suspect these items are awaiting collection somewhere at your local customer service collection point.


The third item was scanned really early in the morning, so this would be regular postman time.

My CSP does not have these, and RM has already said the first two are lost. I'm just shocked the all of these parcels have pretty much dissapeared in 7 days.

If they are lost there's not a lot anybody on here can say or do, all you can do is draw your own conclusions what might have happened to them, hopefully, the parcels were insured.

Thanks, guess this is a bit more of a rant post than anything else. It just such a strange pattern of events.

It has been known for parcels to be deemed lost and then turn up a few weeks later because they were put in the wrong place at the DO.

Or left in a mail sack, kicked under a bench and found 2 years later
