A significant student accommodation building will open on the site of the historic former Nottingham Royal Mail sorting office later this year.
Located in the heart of the city on Bath Street, the scheme - brought forward by true student - will be open from this autumn.
The site, which had remained vacant for 20 years, will be home to a 13-storey building featuring 661 bedrooms.
Approximately 200 jobs are being created during the construction phase.
Ben Morley, managing director of true student, said: "Increasing student numbers in Nottingham has brought enormous vibrancy to the city, but has also placed real pressure on the local private rental market. Students will also have access to amenities including an on-site gym and social spaces such as an outdoor courtyard and a games den.
