SIR - The report headed 'Anger mounting over big Royal Mail backlog' (T&A, January 18) quotes the company as blaming the 'recent severe weather'.
Whilst this might have been acceptable for the week commencing Monday January 6 it does not justify no deliveries during the following week.
Despite being told that parcels are not prioritised over 1st and 2nd class mail, this has certainly not been the case in these parts with parcel deliveries seemingly continuing unabated.
There must be something badly wrong with the management of the Bradford Delivery Centre which Royal Mail needs to get to the bottom of as a matter of urgency.
