TRACK24 parcel not arrived after 5 days

Post by Anjou1111 »

Hi everyone

I posted a parcel (UK to UK personal address) last Saturday using the Track48 service but the tracking still says ‘ The sender has advised they have despatched your item to Royal Mail’ No further updates and it’s now 5 working days later.

I posted it at the local post-office shop.

Should I be worried it has got lost?

Thank you!

I'm in the same situation. Posted a parcel on Monday 2nd Dec, tracking says "accepted at post office" but no movement since Monday.

I went to ask at our local sorting office, and they looked into the system and aapparently my parcel is held at Gatwick, and there is Surcharge to pay.
I'm not sure what to do as the receipient did not receive any information and there's nothing on the tracking indicating a surcharge.

I hope you get it sorted out!

An update on mine is that after a full week of no activity, this weekend it’s been scanned at Bristol and West Midlands so at least it’s not lost.

I guess it’s just a busy time.
