DETECTIVES investigating an incident whereby a postman was seriously assaulted are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The victim reported he was approached by a group of men in Joyners Field, Harlow, while working and assaulted.
He suffered injuries which are thankfully not life-threatening or life-changing, but required hospital treatment.
The assault was reported to have taken place at around 3pm on Sunday 13 October.
The investigation is ongoing.

3pm on a Sunday? They got mail going out on a Sunday now too. Guess it needs to go out at some point but it’s definitely less safe on a weekend afternoon than say 8am on a Monday…
