Standard take home pay

Please can someone tell me why my standard weekly take home pay differs so much? Some weeks is a difference of £32

Check the tax section, that where i normally end up getting taxed more some weeks, but it pence never £

If your doing the same amount of hours every week then check 2 weeks side by side and see what has changed (game of spot the odd one out)

Might be you have an temp allowance for a duty ? or paying for something using salary sacrifice, or your hours are wrong.

I've looked and it is the tax. Everything else is the same just some weeks paying 25 to 35 more tax..

Why is this?

There was a notice on the people app regarding the 53 pay weeks last year (2023/2024) that some may end up paying more tax the message says approx £48.40 - also said HMRC would write to you telling you this.

Other than above have a chat with who ever deals with pay in your place, they may have answers.

Too be honest HMRC, but HR may know as they or someone did post that it could happen, worth a try to contact HR if your still in the dark call HMRC.

Take it your DOM/COM could not help you ?
