Arm Numbness and tingling, veins popping out.

Post by nobLe97 »

Hello everyone looking for some advice from fellow posties.

Been a postie for 3 years now and never had this problem before. Last couple months my veins in my left arm are popping out constantly even when not at work. Also accompanied by a horrible numbness and/or tingling in my forearm mainly. Not sure if this is work related as I hold the bundles in my left hand. No issues with my fingers or wrists either.

Wondering if anyone has had something simalair.

Could be
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/carpal-tunnel-syndrome/

But yes. If it's persistent and it obviously is bothering you, go and see a Dr. Could be serious, may not be but always better to get checked out.

That mainly affects the hand/fingers as it's treated by decompressing the nerves in your wrist, something the affecting the arm could be something more significant, personally I'd go and see a doctor next week.

So you hold your bundles in your left hand and it’s your left arm that’s having issues? Have you tried holding your bundles in your right hand to see if the issue eases?
Which shoulder does your bag strap hang on?

I saw a postie doing the bag on both shoulders thing today 🙄🙄 he’ll pay for that nonsense in years to come.

Tennis elbow and golf elbow are 2 different things. One is the inside of the elbow the other the outside.
For golfers' elbow turn your palm out and stretch the arm. It is really simple and really effective.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I know clash have both of them in both elbows an no amount of phsiyo or stretches have helped.

Try to find and rub the trigger point. Example:

The trigger point could be different to where the discomfort is felt ("T" is where you press/massage the arm, the red speckles are where the discomfort is felt)...
