Thanks

Amazon seem to be dumping all their over sized on RM leaving their drivers to just deliver the small packets they can door step?

Boots also seem to sending loads of large parcels our way.

Any sensible company/union would have postponed the reduced summer hours until after the GE.

Come in, do your hours, go home. If you want o/t do it, if not go home and do the same next day you attend.
We all need to embrace a different attitude with these current bunch of halfwits in charge, it's difficult because we ourselves are so used to being able to clear our frames for years.

The marvellous forecasts, the workings of which when explained to us conjure up an image of Project Cybersyn with data being aggregated and analysed realtime by a crack team of cyberneticists...couldn't tell us even 18 hours in advance that the poll cards would turn up (and in a f***ing mess). They did not fall from heaven - Primepost had to arrange to inject them into the network. I know this communications company is incapable of providing a service to the public, but I would assume it can communicate with itself.
The machine stops.

Absolutely. Ever since RM imposed revisions in our office there is rarely a single day where we have cleared everything. They bring in extra resources when some duties get really bad, but instead of looking at introducing more duties via a complete revision, they persist with the current unachievable duties on an ad-hoc basis. I blame senior management.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

That’s a defo with that one. Our walk covers a lot of flats so anything over the first floor from Amazon comes to us.

It’s what Royal Mail wanted, not the CWU .Do your hours and go home , let Royal Mail worry about the rest.
