Hi all
I will keep this as short as possible but I am really at a loss and would appreciate some advice
I have suffered with my mental health and anxiety for many years,I have recently had to be absent from work due to
my health issues
My Com has issued me with a stage 2 even though I am covered under the disability act as stated in my OH report
I don't feel I can carry on in my current role OPG and would like to transfer to a nearby Mail centre,I have been told that this will not be possible
due to the fact I am currently on a stage
I have tried to find something in writing to clarify that this is indeed the case however I cannot see anything
I would really appreciate any guidance/advice
thanks in advance fellow workmates

Re: Transferring while on a stage 2
Have you appealed the issue of the Stage 2? As far as I remember being covered by the Equality Act does not preclude you from a stage warning but they have to make “reasonable adjustments” what that means in reality I don’t know.

You would think if it was matter of mental health which they allegedly take seriously moving you to a mail centre as opposed to more time off would seem sensible to and reasonable to me
