Rest Day Cover duty

Post by Ukg120031973 »

Hello
Need some advice, I'm currently on a rest day cover duty, one of the walks i cover the person has left the business
The office i work at now want to put that walk duty up as a 6 day duty now and scrap my rest day cover on the duty
Is that right, i thought it should go up as a 5 day duty to be signed for
Any help appreciated 👍🏻

Do you mean slot it into a "Wallington" week section where you do 6 days for 5 weeks then have a week off ?

Surely they're not considering an actual 6 day duty like we had years ago that would be a bit rubbish.

Are you sure it isn't a duty that is just advertised over Monday to Saturday? Surely they would still expect someone to cover the rest days. Best to see the person responsible for the job vacancies in your office

Does it have a Scheduled Attendance attached for the 6th day?
