OH Assessment

Okay, so I (am at least meant to be) a new starter with my start date pushed back from tomorrow due to an OH assessment on Saturday.

I think it should all go smoothly (since I'm only asthmatic thanks to COVID, but it's under control now, and I have had some mental-health related stuff in the past but again, all good now) but I'm a wee bit anxious, cause this is the first time I've ever needed to interact with OH with any employer. Is there anything I should be aware of, or wary of?

I know the job is gonna be stressful, I've fully geared myself up for that (especially joining at peak) but it is only temporary as I need to get my driving experience up before joining Stagecoach next September, and I know the contract compared to the "more seasoned" staff is a bit crap, but it's one of the only jobs with driving you can get right now without a minimum period of holding your driving licence, and I genuinely love driving (although the state of some of the vans will make me question that love I think ahahahah)

Just onboarding has been crap at filtering through information, and my manager although lovely, I don't want to pester, because this genuinely comes across as one of the jobs where you wanna be under the radar as much as possible.

Have you actually started work for Royal mail or not?

If your only gonna be temp just go for it.

OH will probably call you and just ask what medication you take and how severe your asthma is.
The manager is covering their ass not want you have a severe attack whilst working
