*PRIVACY TEAM OF THE YEAR* at the PICCASO (Privacy, InfoSec, Culture Change & Awareness Societal Organisation) Privacy Awards in London this week - it was a fantastic event and gathering of likeminded privacy professionals across Europe.Now, I know I may be biased when I talk about the fantastic team I am lucky enough to lead, the important work we do, and the outstanding efforts every single person in the team gives in order to deliver #1stclass privacy services.. but to be recognised at this year’s industry awards, when shortlisted against 15 other fab privacy teams, was a real #stamp of kudos!

Britain's beleaguered Royal Mail held to ransom by hackers
The ransomware group LockBit has claimed responsibility for the January Royal Mail cyberattack and today is making threats to Britain’s centuries-old service.
There doesn’t seem to be any question now that LockBit was behind the attack after the gang published messages stating that if a ransom is not paid, it will release a significant amount of stolen data from the Royal Mail Feb. 9 on the dark web, the shady corner of the internet reachable with special software.
