The pay package includes other benefits and healthcare. I would think the Healthcare is a huge part of that amount considering how much things cost.

The average worker is significantly wealthier in the US than the UK, even when allowing for health benefits.

In fact the average UK worker is starting to fall quite rapidly down the gdp per capita league table, with the average Polish/Slovenian worker set to overtake by the end of the decade, and Romania/Hungary by 2040.

Of course projections/comparisons like this are normally bull, but the direction of travel is clear and so is our future…
