What if this is the best deal the union can get ?
they have to try to persuade the members too vote for it.
The question is what are the alternatives?
There are people already working on the new contracts so I’m guessing there’s more that will in the future.
I would have liked to have seen a redundancy offered to anyone that wanted to leave on the old contract.

Difficult one for the union, from what we read it would appear that its the best they can get but the majority of people i am coming into contact with are saying no including me.
From social media it looks even bleaker for their agreement, not sure if the silent majority will come through for them.
I wish the union good luck and will abide by the outcome no matter what way it falls, as we live in a democracy thats just the way it happens sometimes.
In the event of a yes i will quietly quit my way into retirement, if they try to pressure me then i can feel a stress related absence and then retirement.
Sometimes we have to stand and fight if you are pushed to far and i feel its one of those moments.
Just not sure if others see it that way.

Fact is that it totally soul destroying working on delivery right now. Has been pre pandemic, years of bullying and harassment, unachievable duty spans and area reps have allowed it.

This deal makes everything worse than the bag of shite it already is.

I'm not that bothered about what is to come because it's that bad already.

Remember that joint statement you agreed weeks ago to honour the uso etc. well that turned out to be nonsense, nothing has changed and walks failing daily. The union have gone missing from the shop floor and have stopped listening, it’s a no vote from me and cancelling my subs straight away after over 30 years service.
