International Distributions Services PLC - Royal Mail deal leaves ‘as many questions as answers’
Royal Mail’s dispute-ending deal with the Communication Workers Union has left as many questions as it has answered, according to Liberum analysts.

Liberum repeated a ‘sell’ rating for the courier, given uncertainty about the deal’s effect on cost savings and productivity for Royal Mail owner International Distributions Services PLC (LSE:IDS).

“We are still sceptical about the execution and implementation risk,” the investment bank noted, adding it was “unclear” if 10% raises and £500 lump sum payments could be funded by the changes set out in the deal.

“Royal Mail is in a better position than it would have been without the deal,” Liberum added.

“However, at best this union deal represents the start of a long and complex restructuring journey that will need to continue far beyond the remaining two-year term of this deal.”

Liberum reiterated IDS’ 135p share price target, down 46% on Monday’s opening of 250.8p. :silenced

This is what we are, not people grafting to make a living, numbers, percentages, targets. The world has become a s**t hole of a place for the average working person. Sadly endorsed by our own union.

Gotta love these so called experts, not sure if the agreement will get the needed cost savings. For a start there is nothing to compare us too so how would you know if theres savings to be had, all we do is give and give, and all we get is crapped on from a great height.
Perhaps the problem is the absolute self important geniuses who run the company, maybe have a look at their business model and see where its going and stop scapegoating the workers.
I can see based on this we are going to get royally bent over if the latest changes dont work.
Its a large NO from me.
