The union should be pushing management for a clear directive in writing to all offices as to whether parcels get priority or not as at the moment it’s a grey area

Still prioritizing tracked at our place as new walks which are supposed to be lapsed aren’t being done most days! Plus lack of staff means failing 4 or 5 walks a day so just do tracked? Our rep hasn’t even challenge it so it’s just another constant cover up

It isn't a grey area. Simon Thompson did send a clear message by email to every office, that we do not prioritise parcels over mail.
Unfortunately, behind the scenes he and others send telephone call to ignore that email.
We prioritise tracked and parcels.

Darren Jones questioned him directly about this. " Is there a verbal cascade...Yes or no"
Thompson refused to answer..

We still actively prioritise parcels, especially tracked, and have done for the last decade~.

Is not tracked 24 and tracked 48 sill part of the reward package for hitting targets and thus bonuses you can send an email but till the BOUNUS CULTURE is eradicated nothing will change!
