Jobs going with people with health problems.
Wondering how many offices out there going through these revisions with people with health problems whose rounds are being absorbed? or people with health problems in locker jobs and they are being closed? or is it just in our office? or going on throughout the country

I wouldn’t think they could get rid of your round because your on the sick. They might as part of an overall revision process which would then effect other posties too.

Its part of these unagreed revisions RM is pushing through in our office....the people's rounds and jobs that are going are their reasonable adjustments due to various health conditions and disabilities.....they are making them choose walks they will not able to do because of their health conditions and disabilities.... management has been made aware of this on several occasions and is still pushing the changes through.

Surely the union is taking this up as it’s a violation of the Equality Acttomtom1dk wrote: ↑20 Jan 2023, 09:59Its part of these unagreed revisions RM is pushing through in our office....the people's rounds and jobs that are going are their reasonable adjustments due to various health conditions and disabilities.....they are making them choose walks they will not able to do because of their health conditions and disabilities.... management has been made aware of this on several occasions and is still pushing the changes through.

I've not heard there's done anything about the sick pay issues nor the latest revisions, apart from sending out endless tweets they seem totally toothless.geordieboy123 wrote: ↑20 Jan 2023, 18:40Surely the union is taking this up as it’s a violation of the Equality Acttomtom1dk wrote: ↑20 Jan 2023, 09:59Its part of these unagreed revisions RM is pushing through in our office....the people's rounds and jobs that are going are their reasonable adjustments due to various health conditions and disabilities.....they are making them choose walks they will not able to do because of their health conditions and disabilities.... management has been made aware of this on several occasions and is still pushing the changes through.

I would have thought that also but the response was put in a grievance and that's itgeordieboy123 wrote: ↑20 Jan 2023, 18:40Surely the union is taking this up as it’s a violation of the Equality Acttomtom1dk wrote: ↑20 Jan 2023, 09:59Its part of these unagreed revisions RM is pushing through in our office....the people's rounds and jobs that are going are their reasonable adjustments due to various health conditions and disabilities.....they are making them choose walks they will not able to do because of their health conditions and disabilities.... management has been made aware of this on several occasions and is still pushing the changes through.

Ok you have to start the procedure but your manager should be told by the Rep that ultimately this will end up at the Employment Tribunal where the compensation is unlimited should you wintomtom1dk wrote: ↑25 Jan 2023, 17:27I would have thought that also but the response was put in a grievance and that's itgeordieboy123 wrote: ↑20 Jan 2023, 18:40Surely the union is taking this up as it’s a violation of the Equality Acttomtom1dk wrote: ↑20 Jan 2023, 09:59Its part of these unagreed revisions RM is pushing through in our office....the people's rounds and jobs that are going are their reasonable adjustments due to various health conditions and disabilities.....they are making them choose walks they will not able to do because of their health conditions and disabilities.... management has been made aware of this on several occasions and is still pushing the changes through.![]()
