Post by thebigone »

Expecting £33,000 pension only had £26.000
£10,000 few weeks ago got £16,000 today
Is it usual too get it in 3 separate ?
Still waiting on £7.000 or will I need too ring them?

Hi are your lump sums split in between lump sum, cash balance, and AVC.If you then have surplus cash are you taking as an Uncrystallised sum. That could be why there is more than one payment. I also retired a few weeks ago I had 2 payments and I am awaiting my Uncrystallised sum payment.best option in my òinion is to ring the pension help line.

What age are you, ?
If under 65, you are taxed for taking pension early. Sounds like the missing 7k is tax...possibly .

You aren't "taxed" for taking your pension early. You lose 5% per year early (approx) and if that still takes you over the tax threshold then you pay tax as any other earnings. That applies if you take your pension early or at NRA.
