Tomorrow Thursday 22nd
What's the chances of do's being cleared tomorrow, our comdom reckons it's going to be quiet, the only way our place will have any chance is if no mail whatsoever turns up and that's still pushing it.

If nothing turns up it should be ok. If stuff turns up it won’t be a clear office.

No chance, they might clear it by saturday if they bring nothing else in and just do packets and parcels, no way the letters will clear. Even Santa couldn't pull that off there are so many.

Re: Tomorrow Thursday 22nd
We’ll be clear if RM take back the yorks of packets, tracked and letters, cards, and flats we still have. If nothing else comes down and we start tying up what’s in the frames as soon as we start and get out the door by 7.30. Then again, if we do that, what will the strikebreakers, managers and agency do on Friday and Saturday? Answer: Not much, same as usual

We have two hopes.
Bob Hope and no hope....
Even if we all did a 24 hour shift we would still monumentally fail

Re: Tomorrow Thursday 22nd
The rumour is that there will only be parcels tomorrow. When leaving the office today I overheard a manager telling a colleague who was putting mech into his frame, to only put it in if he was about to deliver it. The instruction being that any tray mail should be left under the frame tomorrow.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 17:35What's the chances of do's being cleared tomorrow, our comdom reckons it's going to be quiet, the only way our place will have any chance is if no mail whatsoever turns up and that's still pushing it.
So that is how they are going to achieve ‘clear frames’.
Managers are enabling the bonfire.

Like the way you omitted the word 'working' after managers.Surreypostie wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 17:43Of course we are but there are agency working and managersrambo1 wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 17:42We on strikeSurreypostie wrote: ↑21 Dec 2022, 17:40No chance, they might clear it by saturday if they bring nothing else in and just do packets and parcels, no way the letters will clear. Re: Tomorrow Thursday 22nd
Impossible for our office to be clear - we have zero float cover. Anyone who has their day off tomorrow - their letters and standard parcels will be going nowhere. The tracked will be cleared though.
