Just seen that on BBC news, Buck Palace said when asked if it will be a bank holiday, that is a matter for the government. Highly unlikely with a tory government and lets face it, how many would watch it? Not me that's for sure.

Bank Holidays don't occur on Saturdays cause no-one works on a Saturday so it wouldn't be much of a holiday

It won't be a Bank Holiday, as a Saturday, but could Royal Mail approach OFCOM for it to be granted a "non service day", as happens when a Saturday occurs between Christmas Day and Boxing Day?

There will be no extra bank holiday, I believe they are going to move one existing bank holiday (May Day?)
Personally couldn't care less about it and I doubt it will be a non-service day, but who knows? Rm might be totally different by then, we could be on mon-fri
