no way we will get them the place floods when it rains has no ceiling and we dont own our victorian d.o so id be very surprised if they spent the money.same with electric we have space for 3 vans total good luck when electric comes.

We were told every office would have them this year.......

In any event, whenever they do appear/return it will no doubt be only in some offices. Much the same with new vans, proper equipment, uniform....

If they did want to bring in electric, they'd either have to merge you into another office or relocate you, probably onto an industrial estate, away from the area that you cover

No chance of this happening , wouldn't be able to pay the actual OT due to us, every penny for every minute over , in our DOs when clocking in and out .

but without the clocking on/off machine, how will they manage the acrued unpaid overtime bank of hours thats been talked about? surely you need a mechanism thats robust to start with so that the data of extra unpaid hours banked is robust and auditable?

They most likely will just plan in less hours in a day for x month and add the hour into y month.
If it's just down to finishing early they know we will twig onto it and either slow down, come in on time, even the runners will get the message after year one that it aint worth it.

Came back off delivery on Thursday and there it was sat by the door all wrapped in Clingfilm!

Our COM said the other day they are being rolled out across deliveries from end October.
Using your ID card at the entrance to building.
Signing in desk will be gone.
He was quick to say any overtime agreed with him will not affect what time you sign out.
Tumbleweed as you could clearly hear everyone's head ticking away.
