Morning all.
Just looked at my wageslip for last week and checked to see if overtime worked last week has gone in. Surprise, Surprise, I've been underpaid again.
Problem is that because of this I haven't reached the 8 hours minimum overtime for last month and so I won't now qualify for average pay for the next 5 months. Can the Dom put this through this week as an underpayment from last week, or is that it, I've lost this 6 months average pay?
Thanks.

Re: unpaid overtime
I suggest you get something in writing to say it was missed off last week in error. Then when payments come after the 6 month period, if you have lost out because they haven’t taken their error into account, complain and if they don’t pay, put in a claim.
You worked the overtime. Their mistake to put it against the wrong week. You should still be entitled.
More evidence that this is such an unworkable and unfair system. Hopefully enough people complain/put in claims and get it changed.

Re: unpaid overtime
Yes they can allocate it against the correct week and it appears as such in your pay statement.
Also another thing to bear in mind is if they pay you it without annotating it against the correct week
the total sum of overtime might not be paid against the SSPR rate if it takes you over 37hrs!
e.g You're on a 30hr contract and work 4 hours OT (not paid the correct week).
Manager says don't worry I'll stick it on next week OT.
The next week you work 5hrs OT and get paid the 4hrs OT as well (total 9hrs OT)
Result - you get paid 7hrs at SSPR and 2 hrs at 1st 10hrs rate (which is lower as it doesn't attract delivery supplement or pension contribution).

Re: unpaid overtime
It’s an odd system whereby the more overtime you do in a week, the lower the rate (2nd 10 hours is even lower?). What was the reason behind the agreement for no delivery supplement or pension contribution for overtime over 37 hours?yellowbelly wrote: ↑04 Nov 2021, 10:35Yes they can allocate it against the correct week and it appears as such in your pay statement.

Before my time, another crappy agreement, think the theory was that it would discourage OT and get peopleKaning It wrote: ↑04 Nov 2021, 13:33It’s an odd system whereby the more overtime you do in a week, the lower the rate (2nd 10 hours is even lower?). Re: unpaid overtime
I had never quite understood that on the payslip. So it’s not even extra hours, let alone overtime after 37 hours. That’s all kind of sh*thousery! What do the Union say about that?!yellowbelly wrote: ↑04 Nov 2021, 14:37Before my time, another crappy agreement, think the theory was that it would discourage OT and get peopleKaning It wrote: ↑04 Nov 2021, 13:33It’s an odd system whereby the more overtime you do in a week, the lower the rate (2nd 10 hours is even lower?).
