Did you seriously pay money to your GP to wear your own footwear? Genuine question

Yes the Magnum Bandera are the best imo, could you maybe try address your issue with some appropriate insoles ? Maybe have to go up a size to accommodate them.

In the fleetfooted days I could burn through a pair of boots in as little as three months. When I was in between footwear orders once I wore my own boots for two days but those had very soft soles which, though extremely comfortable, did not survive pounding the street.

I am absolutely convinced my problems with my leg in the last half decade were a consequence of first the Doc Martens and then the Magnum Midnites being discontinued and having to wear the finest produce of Albania. That the problems quite rapidly alleviated themselves after I started wearing new old stock Magnums should be considered strong proof of causality. Should I want an IHR I can switch back to wearing their shite at any time.
The machine stops.

Definitely the best idea, it's what I do i use those half length ones to stabilise my ankle and support my arches and I don't have to remove the original insoles. It's worth a go instead of throwing money at various types of shoe. Incidentally if you aren't authorised to wear your own shoes and you have an accident, we'll RM will use that against you
