Exactly the same happened to me, took pic of the door. At least I’ll be on guard next time it happens.

It's the way it should always have been, stops you taking a photo and accidentally posting it.

Doesn't stop the recipient accidentally slamming the door in your face though does it?

You don't hand the item over until they've signed.

What they mean is they've signed - hand it over - they shut the door while you press send THEN it comes up take photo
From this week RM have swapped on the PDA - sign first then take photo

They finally changed it - makes sense, saves time... you can type in the name while you wait for them to make their slow-arsed way to the door then search for keys. Hand them the PDA then photo the parcel before handing it to them. or even take photo as they sign.

Isn't it about time we got rid of recorded delivery all together, saves us the bother.

Just photograph the door. We haven’t got time to frame perfect portraits of each item.

The change makes sense but F*****G tell us it's happening don't hang us out to dry having to re knock on the door to now photo an opened parcel.
