Can someone explain these finish times please ,summer and winter?
I've just looked up my DO and it says a maximum of 60 mins and then underneath a maximum of 90 mins (last letter 4.30).
So is this the summer times up til 4.30 or is this all year round now? I thought there were seasonal times or is this scrapped now?
It's the change to your current attendance time on a Wednesday.

So if your start at 6 on Weds, you will now start at 7.30. With seasonal hours in the new agreement, that will be 7am in winter and 8am in summer.

If its a heavy day your finish time can also be extended by 30 mins to 5pm on managers orders.
Where is it agreed that a manager can make you work an extra half hour each day ?

I just can't bring myself to vote away my terms and conditions. Royalmail may not have any money for a bigger pay rise (fine), but I'm not selling my terms and conditions off on the cheap because of decision made to give away all the profits to share holders rather than invest in the future of the company.

Management already make you work over your time. It’s called bullying! Which the union do f### all about. It’s gonna get a lot worse if this deal goes through, especially those that don’t have their tongue up a manager’s backside. At one point £1500 bonus was on the table. It’s now £1400 and £900 in nearly October. That’s £100 less ! Ward n Furey have treated members appallingly . Whatever happens in the vote them 2 clowns 🤡🤡should be gone ⚓️⚓️s

The previous £1,500 bonus was paid for by a lower pay rise, we're now in line to get £1,400 plus the £1,000 as a pay rise.

Is that it?
We have waited weeks for this abysmal excuse of a union to send out the voting papers and they think that a small bribe with (effectively our own) money which was in reserve to smooth any problems with the new pension scheme is a good idea, just to try to get a yes vote.
I thought Trustees were there to protect our pensions, not to dip into them on a whim. So when the new pension gets into trouble because of the dire state and fragility of the economy, and it is an untested model, who is going to bail it out. I cannot see the government wanting to take on another failing Royal Mail pension.
Its still very much a No from me.

The escrow account was nothing to do with the new pension, it's actually the union that has managed to move some of the money into the new pension.

I’ve not a clue how pensions work or how this escrow money has come about. However I just think any extra monies in any pension scheme should be left alone for a rainy day and not used as a bribe. People are very nervous about pensions especially when you hear about deficits, black holes, scams etc.
