Suprisingly (not) quite a lot of tension.. Why? Because they've decided to have a 'Resign'.. sigh

Really bad day, some of us have been given more indoor work with no extra time to complete it. I still had loads of mail to throw off as most of the office was going out. Managers can't even be bothered to listen to reason. Properly stressed out about it, drinking too much after work and dreading going to work tomorrow.

and Breath - sorry pal but what's the relevance of 'most of the office ... going out' - you get paid for x hr.s and that's what you do, never mind breaking it up or comparing rounds, whatever - 'they' give you the work and, hopefully, the tools to do the job - - somewhere on here you'll see the advice to give your 'manager' 1 hrs heads-up that you won't be able to complete. Find the Chapter and Verse on this forum, print it out, (several times cos 'someone' may have a tantrum and screw it up in front of you whatever) :speak to the hand and inform 'them' that that's how it is at the earliest opportunity.. you may be asked into the Office, you may get to meet people you thought had been moved to another office but had been there all the time, but don't even think of trying to use reason (ha). As soon as it looks like it's getting rough :speak to the hand and get your Union Rep involved (brief heads-up to him first thing if you can..). It's B*ll*cks but it's not your b*ll*cks.. and Breath.

Today was fine, about half the packets of yesterday :Very Happy SO that just means that we'll get them all tomorrow but people will be in so we'll clear them for the first part of the morning (until about 11am when people start going out for their day of fun and spending).
