A legally binding no strike agreement is out of the question.

Right now, everyone should be getting out the message that anyone who buys Royal Mail shares will lose their money because the government will be forced to renationalise RM like they had to renationalise Railtrack.

What good is a guaranteed 6% dividend if the share price plummets?

£1000 worth of shares will get you £60 in one year but the shares will only be worth £500 because the only way to increase profits is to cut the terms and conditions of the workforce. This is only possible if the union agrees to a no strike clause and this will never happen. Strikes will make the share price drop.
