Certainly are advertising to the wrong crowd! I know some of us are stupid but we are not that stupid, to spend a whole weeks pay on a pair of poxy shoes they need their bumps read.
   They'll be at least 2 volunteers on here.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Mmm..interesting one this one..
Without stating the obvious did you put the correct address on the parcel you sent to Italia?(Many people don't i can assure you)!
Was it weighed correctly and the appropriate stamps put on?
Was it a fragile item that could have been damaged in transit and now sits at a local Italia mail room waiting for someone to pick it up!
Have customs intercepted it Italia?
How reliable is the mail service in Italia?
It's very easy to blame Royal Mail as they are an easy target, but i think perhaps you need to look how things are in Italia before pointing the finger of blame at your local post office!
And if it was so valuable why could you not send it via surface air mail/registered?
