One near me has stopped the change over because of the chaos and they are not even on the naughty list
Were they going to change over early?

We had a few 'changeover' staff in a while back to change frames and put different colours onto the IPS. They couldn't do most of what they wanted due to the mail bulging out of frames. They've not been seen again. I reckon DM26 is going to be spectacularly 'winged' in ours, and much like the naughty list that we never seem to appear on, whatever mail comes in each day will just get added to the rest.

Not that I know of, I think it was just their scheduled time

The frames only take a day to do and a few days to adjust to, they colour coded the frames which are due to be grouped together but I think that was for the previous plan so that was a waste, in fact a lot of the decals are ripped and falling off already

Well, we are kind of falling at the first hurdle, with zero feedback on what is happening.

I'd have thought that after the promises from the high up CWU officials that there are multiple checks and stages to go through before/during/after deployment that there would be a way for us grunts on the frontline to let them know about it not being the case?

I agree but that was the previous doomed to fail plan. They will no doubt be back to get you ready to fail at DM26

I just want it started at ours now, Sooner the better in my opinion. RIP the plaster off and crack on, because it’s extremely s**t at the moment anyway.

We're going live in 2 weeks, basically been told it's 2 in 5 as local office that picked a 9 day fortnight is failing badly. Where has this Tuesday Saturday come from? That's why we are having to work longer days.
Should still get a vote, they have to make it work.
One of the benefits of voting this in was we had greater choice on duty patterns that benefited us and our work life balance.

I think that the potential for more Saturdays off is the only potential benefit. The shift patterns look s**t from what I've seen. Longer days, later starts and finishes. As usual all different lengths of shifts. No mention of what part time contracts would be doing. Only 2 of the patterns actually populated with times for the shifts. I won't be be voting as they're all s**t.

Anyway, do we have any Doom26 employees here to give us some information. Is overtime allowed in your office? Are you still running on old staff levels? Are the surplus picking up the bits that fail?

We were given a vote, but both our rep and manger recommended 2 in 5. 2 in 5 is now 23 days out of 30, you get an extra day off, but work longer hours every day.
