That is how it’s supposed to work when you are filling in for one half of a paired duty as the non-driving person, That said, it is not an uncommon occurrence to come in to discover the walk hasn’t even been fully prepped or tied up, let alone loaded loaded, or that despite the planning you now need to finish prepping the duty and belatedly go out on your own with tracked from both sides, specials, boxes, CCs, triple mail for the side you’re taking out, etc, etc

Im meant to come in to a prepped walk, ready to tie up, but almost every day I'm left to throw in a tray of mech and scan two full sacks of packets, then over to scan the oversize and load up, so I'm way behind before I get out, then we have no time to complete once out.. makes me feel stressed out and anxious before I even really get going..
