Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Feck me! Greed really has no boundaries, in the search for that extra few sheckles, and believe me it will only be a few, now we are trying to argue in a performance related bonus, the same performance related bonus that we all complain about the managers getting.
Does nobody remember last years big xmas bonus debacle, where very few, got not a lot and RM set so many obstacles to actually getting it that nobody knew until after they had put the effort in that they were getting nothing.
Catch yourself on!

Nobody has provided any evidence (yet) on here of any bonus for peak this year.
Even notification about the 'normal' £100 x 2 'bonuses' (pro-rata) hasn't seen the light of day yet.

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Productivity doesn't really form part of the My Performance data, regardless if the business wants to reward staff for going above and beyond then surely we've got to do something extra to warrant a bonus, otherwise what's the point of the business offering an additional bonus?

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
Personally i would not want any bonus based on the my performance figures until they become remotely accurate. The number of failures is always wrong. I only normally fail one or two but this is rarely correct. Also i've had days where i've had no collections but according to the app i have

They can keep the bonus this year, it's not worth the effort.
Apparently they are so short of money they are cancelling overtime and not allowing people to work days off when the new high season starts, the instructions are to bring everything ( except tracked) back to the office and under no circumstances go over.
Also don't expect your day off to be covered but you can't go in that day to help either.

Yeah why don't you think of the managers bonuses for once duhIdk wrote: ↑03 Nov 2024, 15:04They can keep the bonus this year, it's not worth the effort.

You would think the deliver 100% of tracked above all else would've been cracked down on by now by the law. Apparently our overlords can commit perjury and walk away with a tidy package without a second thought though so no surprise lol

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
I recently had ANOTHER run in with the DIM about this bloody Doorstep App!
This followed an embarrassing incident when a Relief Manager ... Obviously on a Saturday .. was literally begging me to just press that Doorstep App button and was trying to BS me why it was so important to help improve the office's driving standards FFS!
On Monday the DIM said he was making it a ''Reasonable Request'' and would have to supply a written statement why I REFUSED to use the APP.
I reported it to the Area Delivery Rep who fired it up the line and my DIM must have been told to wind his neck in as IT IS NOT COMPULSORY TO USE THIS APP!! He hasn't mentioned it since.
I don't really like the saying, ''Grow a Pair'' but some staff REALLY need to get some backbone and stop accepting this Micro Managing from the idiots that are sat in the office playing on their laptops. If you are working ''Properly'' there's very little these idiots can actually do to you ... they just like to BS you and threaten you with non existant penalties.

No need to use the app at all. It says in the agreement that use will be ‘voluntary’. So they can ask as ‘reasonably’ as they like but you do not have to comply.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
And my DIM STILL tries to deny that all these ''Requests'' are NOT somehow linked to his $$$ BONUS $$$ at the end of the year
Just the same as the fact that he has NO Vested Interest in ensuring that ALL Tracked Parcels must be delivered regardless of whatever you bring back.
The problem is that the Power Crazy Micro Managers think that everyone that works in their DO is Stupid! Unfortunately too many of them are, and are unable to read between the lines! Ignorance is Bliss!

If it was linked to their bonus why does our manager tell us to stop looking at that crap and get on with the jobDorset Plodder wrote: ↑14 Nov 2024, 10:44

It’s linked to ‘something’ that benefits them because they went from never mentioning it after the intro to it, to suddenly in September asking us to look at it every day.

Re: Xmas bonus linked to my performance app
The Xmas bonus scheme for 2024 will require COM to pick bonus for individual staff in December - awarding prizes to staff based on MyPerformance data
Prizes include £50 vouchers, £25 vouchers, £10 vouchers, soundbar, headphones, power bank, Royal Mail umbrella, Royal Mail water bottle. These packs of ‘prizes’ have been sent out to all DOs this week
So it will be the COM awarding prizes daily
MyPerformance app usage within an office is now linked to the managers bonus hence the push for staff to open the app and view it weekly
