Just seen replies by Springheeled Boris and Pistol, and have to agree with you both. Scab in my office was doing pretty much the same thing, but with recorded items. Was reported to the Dum, no action taken...did it again, this time incident reported over Dum's head . If It was a striker doing it, their butt would have been bounced all the way down the conduct code!! And to top it all, the scab had the nerve to ring up and complain he'd been grassed up!!!!!You could'nt make it up, could you?? :d'oh! :d'oh!

It isn't just strike breakers who think they should be treated differently - there seems to be a growing number of "elites" who seem to think that the rules are for others - and are pandered to by a desperate management clinging to some semblance of control.

had a scab say to us that he wasn't a scab as he had done 2 strikes and couldnt afford another and any way (and this was the beauty) as I was the only one on the picket line I didnt have the support anyway.....told him they may not have been on the picket but at least they stopped away I call that support

Ive slept on this for few days now, and from what ive seen at my office and have read about on here, i dont think :lfo :cfo are serious about trying to reach a settlement, bosses all over the country are causing confrontation i think they are just playing their PR games with us taking the issue out of the public domain, for me i think they should never have called off the strikes, weve taken the pressure off :lfo :cfo and given them time to negotiate a deal that chances are will suit them more than us, we ought to have gone out and stayed out, that would have put the pressure on :lfo :cfo and this would have been settled by now probably more in our favour, i think the CWU have dropped a major b***ock...UNITY IS STRENGTH.

Actually I've also been thinking about it and I can also say that perhaps RM have dropped a bollock on this one. Its near enough 4 weeks since the last strike so hopefully most have made up their lost earnings and have been able to build up a fighting fund. As we are now about to go into the busiest part of the year the pressure will build up on Royal Mail, maybe more than on us individuals. Hopefully this time though we will continue to call strikes when they come back to the table.

Have faith, keep the strength and we will win.
