POL Supplychain and cash centres 3am fri to 3am sat. POL Crown offices fri 29th June 6am and 12.00 and Mon 2nd July between 6am and 12.00

My official day off next week is friday, but i am getting shafted onto another duty which has saturday as its d.o. Can i still demand for my "official" d.o.

I was under the impression that we could not deliver the flyers with the mail. Can anyone advise on this one as would love to get to all addresses. :nana

I think you have to finish your shift at 6am Fri Morn and Fri Night/Sat Morn would be your strike day,otherwise if you went 3am Fri morn you would be expected back 3am Saturday morn after the strike has finished.

No doubt if i am wrong someone will correct me.

Usually it means you finish any shift that starts before the strike begins, but you would be on strike for the whole of the next shift beginning during those times. But no doubt the CWU will be clarifying this before Friday.

A one day strike and the public won't notice it, and won't really care. When are the CWU going to get some balls and really call Leighton & Crozier's bluff. If you want to really want to get people's attention go all out.
