Since Covid, office environment / workload has got so much more, I just say to management “take a look at my PDA data and tell me my walk is not too big”.
Do your job properly ie Van checking /mileage ,try a neighbour /no door stepping, scan items correctly, sign in/ out-on time etc… and have no customer complaints then everything will flow.

If they tell you to prioritise tracked then so be it.
It’s really up to management to sort the workload out properly .

Probably worth getting any instruction like that in writing to cover your ass, if the s**t were to hit the fan, the COM would just turn around and deny ever giving that instruction

Surely the weight of everyone in the office confirming the COM has verbally instructed everyone to do this would be evidence enough.

The correct procedure in emptying the plastic lined yorks is to use a snow shovel. Every once in a while our MC walk sorts some of our parcels. Yet when you go asking a manager for a shovel(We only have enough for IPS), an argument ensues and you get told you have an attitude problem. It's like they are deliberately trying to provoke arguments so they can try get you on trumped up charges of intimidating behaviour etc. Absolutely toxic place to work in now.

Probably trying to find an excuse to send you lot to the nearest DO. Shameful tactics, but at the same time probably well deserved for some indoor duty holders (who wouldn't last a single day on Delivery)

After being away from the place for a couple of months the veil has been well and truly pulled. RM is utterly scandalous.

A manager denying a verbal instruction could only happen once, nobody could trust that manager again, any trust would dissappear making their job impossible

I think most staff have reached the point where if a manager told you it's raining out, you'd still go see for yourself
