Exactly and we did what we could to sort and deliver at our office today including the precious tracked and specials, Most of us finished on time then I got back to the office only to find 19 yorks !! full of letters including xmas cards, NHS letters, Junk mail etc you name it so there is shed loads of it waiting to be sorted and delivered somehow next Wednesday to Saturday…oh happy days…Merry Christmas let’s all enjoy our VERY rare 5 days off over Christmas

You can make pictures tell a story, but postie's know the truth. Reckon about 25% of normal Christmas cards totals made it through, we still had 4-5 York's of mail to be sorted, and around 10 of pkts when the driver came from the mail centre at 6pm. Again the parcel over letter priority talk, but I think just 3 or 4 walks left letters behind. Blame the strikes for some problems, but I find the rest embarrassing. Maybe claiming D/O clearance triggers a bonus , so where's our reward ?

In a smaller office it is easier for managers to guilt trip people into working, but I couldn’t live with myself.

The photo's don't really show a clear office by the angle it was taken from.
So if some Delivery office's are clear have they been given 23rd and 24th off, I guess not, and they will still get 2 days pay deducted so it's all a load of bull****

Typical of this scumbag. He looks like he stole a stock "thank you" image from Shutterstock. It looks like it was lifted from a google search and not paid for because the photo identifier is still in the image. This kind of image is copyrighted and he has no right to use it, especially as it would be classed as corporate use, and would be charged to use it.
