Does anyone else find that a cop out by management? If you had to go to the DO and speak to him in person would he need to speak to CS before giving you a definite answer or tell you that he was looking into the matter? Seems managers aren't allowed to make decisions these days

You'll never get a definite answer from a DOM , it'll either be BS or will have that much wriggle room so they can cover their arse or forget they ever said anything at all

True. Found that all management are fluent in the language of BS. Rather an expert in it myself, but it's still a cop out that a manager has to send any letters of complaint to CS!

So, a couple of months later - things are even worse.

Had no post on Monday, yesterday the postlady said they had no-one to cover our round at the mo and so she was delivering two days' worth of mail on overtime. She said lots of people had been complaining and encouraged us to add our voices as she thought it was crazy

Unfortunately, as I have found, complaining to the DO manager has done nothing. Once again, multiple packets are overdue; last week, we had ten parcels delivered at 6:40pm, which is crazy, and I feel really bad for the staff who have to deal with this.

Where should I complain to next?

you can only really go up the escalation process

however as I have said before to non RM people
nobody cares. its all about saving money and cutting staff and fudging performance figures is the way to do it (in RM land)
going to the press/MP is fine and kicks up a storm but the rot is in
this is all preperation for the carving up of the RM network and faux privitisation

:no no :no no :no no

Atrocious, it's all I can say. The only thing I can advise is to keep complaining. May seem like you're flogging a dead horse, but something's gotta be done eventually :pray
