Yes they do, all 3 will rotate around in the group.
No they won't. That is not part of the DM26 plan. If the 3 agree to do that, then it is fine presuming all 3 drive. However, if I sign for a "standalone" duty, I am not intending to get back to van sharing at any point. Sadly, I think I will just miss out and have to settle for the inefficiency of sharing a van.

What about those who are displaced?
There won't be any.
? You have 3 people doing 4 walks
Perhaps the office is understaffed ?
Doesn't the office have to be fully staffed before you start DM26?
With so many DOs going over early, I think it's only a matter of time before RM bring the deadline for all DOs forward by a long way, probably the end of August at the latest.
August 12th going live! We are woefully unprepared. Frames have been moved into pods, doing a re-pick before a full re-pick on Sept 21. We have nowhere near enough staff, and anyone new will walk as soon as they see this shambles. August re-pick is on hold because those who have been given certain walks because of medical issues are upset that they might be moved onto a walk they can`t do. Square peg, round hole. Management desperate to force it all through whatever the cost.

If people are being moved off a ring fenced duty then they are entitled to be more than upset, it’s not allowed. They can be moved onto a similar duty, ie no large hills or stairs etc.

However, if someone has an agreement that they do a certain duty unofficially then they can’t really complain.

Well that's not DM26 then is it
It is if you are van share but you say you're singles.
Sorry I don't understand what you mean
2 van shares are 4 singles. Problem solved.

So where do the savings come from? The whole point of DM26 is to cut costs.

Ring fenced duties should be reevaluated every 12 months to check that it’s doesn’t have a negative effect on the operation….do your homework

I don’t follow. Where did I say that they shouldn’t be evaluated? (Not that I care).

It seems that the squabble is between those being moved around WITHIN the ring-fenced duties. The re-pick is on hold, waiting for when a decision is made at executive level. I can`t believe that no-one saw this coming a mile off ages ago.

That doesn't sound great, but it certainly sounds like something for HR to work out, especially when Protected Characteristics are in play. It's why people need to make sure things like this are all done properly, not just by a nod.
