Yep no change to my booked and planned annual leave that I’ve got coming up it’s just costing me 39 hours instead of 37.
All that answer means is that if you don’t have any hours leave left for them to take the extra 2 hours they won’t take it back out of next years leave.

No matter what the reason if you use more leave than you've got, the difference will always be taken out of the next years leaveZicomurphy wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 18:16All that answer means is that if you don’t have any hours leave left for them to take the extra 2 hours they won’t take it back out of next years leave.

Funny how none if this was mentioned in the run up to the vote.
As long as it gets evened out next year then fine.
Keep a tally everyone.

PSP doesn't know when your day off is.
The system will just take 24 mins a day if you're full time and 10 mins if part time.
Let's see if it evens out next year.
Keep a tally.

It clearly says any deficit will be waived not that any deficit will be taken from next years allocation.

Re: Seasonal hours suspended Update-"To start 4th of September"
So it shouldn't have been taken off.
But it has. (just checked mine).
Bravo.
Will the union be pushing for all these hours to be added back on??
What a mess.
Edit- jpeg file not attached.
From I can make out it was in the q and a sheet that any deficit would be waived this leave year.
It hasn't.
Weasel words or a clear breach?
Would Woody care to clarify??

Unless I am interpreting it completely wrong I think it just means if you haven’t got enough leave outstanding for them to take the extra 2 hours they won’t cancel any of your booked leave or look to claw it back next year.Dexydog wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 19:05So it shouldn't have been taken off.

Think that'll require them to manually edit your leave allocation for it to be waivedZicomurphy wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 18:59No.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 18:34No matter what the reason if you use more leave than you've got, the difference will always be taken out of the next years leaveZicomurphy wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 18:16All that answer means is that if you don’t have any hours leave left for them to take the extra 2 hours they won’t take it back out of next years leave.

It clearly states "if there is any deficit caused to your annual leave balance this will be waived for this leave year".Zicomurphy wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 19:22Unless I am interpreting it completely wrong I think it just means if you haven’t got enough leave outstanding for them to take the extra 2 hours they won’t cancel any of your booked leave or look to claw it back next year.Dexydog wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 19:05So it shouldn't have been taken off.

They're going rogue (again) is how I interpretate it.
If its how you interpretate it, then they are treating people differently depending on when they they have their annual leave booked for this year.
Either way its discrimination and very likely illegal.
Over to you union seeing as that's what we pay our subs for.

Re: Seasonal hours suspended Update-"To start 4th of September"
Typical RM of late, if you've booked all your hols they can't deduct it, if you haven't then you lose 2+ hours for any week's hols taken between now and December. The CWU should have really informed all it's members to make sure they book all their hols before the changes went live. It's baffling how this is legal and that they can change the hols rules mid year, some lucky employees will get nearly 5 hours more hols than others.Dexydog wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 19:30It clearly states "if there is any deficit caused to your annual leave balance this will be waived for this leave year".Zicomurphy wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 19:22Unless I am interpreting it completely wrong I think it just means if you haven’t got enough leave outstanding for them to take the extra 2 hours they won’t cancel any of your booked leave or look to claw it back next year.Dexydog wrote: ↑03 Sep 2023, 19:05So it shouldn't have been taken off.
