There is no trial. The company isn't waiting to find out if it works - they're talking about 400+ offices transmogrified by October. Then again, this is exactly how the ODM panned out this time last year so expect these offices to be running some Third Way proposal by January and everywhere else to be postponed again.
The machine stops.

I no longer work for RM, but I am covered by Stalybridge SUDU (SK15).

Parcels are getting through next day or one day late.

We have had no post for two weeks now.
I have a magazine subscription that should have arrived first class 24th June, still not arrived.
In fact the new issue is coming on 8th June, id be amazed if I don't receive them both together.

Postie says there is no staff and he is just running around like a blue a$$ fly doing parcels.
It's about time they brought in wilful delay of mail by management.

So not sure how management can be charged with wilful delay of mail when all they are doing is what they are told to do.
20% failure is now deemed as ok.
It’s the retention of staff, you said it yourself “he is running around like a blue ass fly” so would you want to stay under said conditions.
Delivery do there best, but sooner or later most either quit or quiet quit, I cannot blame them.
Although I understand your frustrations, it’s probably going to get worse!

Perhaps I should have been more succinct.

By management I don't mean the D.O. management. I mean the higher ups at corporate.
They know it's wrong and keep lieing to the government about the practice going on.

One week in 5 we get no post for a week in winter, so I know in the summer, with holidays, it's going to get worse.

Just to be clear I don't blame anyone at the D.O. level.
The posties are too busy and knackered to do overtime.
The management have had budget cuts and overtime bans.

It's just lack of investment in staff and giving them a reason to stick around.

I certainly wouldn't want to work for RM now and I honestly feel sorry for the posties nowadays.

That so many offices are failing so badly that the managers at them can't fudge the figures enough to not appear on this list is unbelievable really considering this was always considered the quiet time of the year and when traditionally summer lapsing would be in full flow

It is shocking and I bet the main reason in nearly every one of those is cost cutting. OT reductions or bans or deliberately being short of staff.
