The hour less of work is dependant on a revision.RICARD020191962 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2021, 16:24I don't see the point in Covid driven revisions if it's not going to be around forever. Would rather wait and see how the job looks if and when hopefully life returns to normal. As for voting blind, I don't see it that way, I'm voting for what is set out in front of me. There will always be other issues to sort out in the future, let's deal with them accordingly when the time comes around. For now, it's
1) Payrise
2) No compulsory redundancies
3) Hour less of work
That'll do for me.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: The Pathway to Change National Briefings
A sensible approach would be have something that can adapt either way, quickly. If that means new ways of working, shift patterns, flexibility etc, it would surely be better than what we are having to put up with now on a daily basis. From our offices point of view, a good chunk of the duties are getting fully staffed 6 days a week - which in an ideal world is a good thing. The flip side of this, is that many other duties are only going out 3-4 times a week, and are often left days on end. A sensible way of working through this crisis would be to have ALL duties go out 5 days a week on a rota, but staff are unwilling to agree to this as it means giving up early finishes.RICARD020191962 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2021, 16:24I don't see the point in Covid driven revisions if it's not going to be around forever. Just because you don't agree with me and my views doesn't make me an idiot. Of course I realise that they want change quickly but that was before the new Covid variant has thrown us into another lockdown. I think wait and see is now an option because of the vaccination programme but again that's just my opinion, not an idiotic opinion in my opinion but others may disagree.

If you feel qualified enough to quantity it as such then you're wasted as a postie.
