Just called the shares hotline and the price they sold at yesterday were 4.869973, so multiply this by your amount of shares, then deduct 32%.

Would that be the people who (about 3.5 years ago) where claiming the shares would be worthless by the time we where able to sell them, or the people (more recently) who where of the opinion that if a large enough number of posties sold out ASAP then it would affect the price? The former where obviously very wrong (£4.914 as I write this), whilst the latter where merely wrong to the extent that they where wrong at all about how many people chose to sell.

So could I.
The comma is after the word "English", after which there should be a space before the word "it."
I can only presume by "comma", you actually mean "quotation mark".
Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a Rep.

Regardless of peoples reasons for selling or keeping the shares i'm amazed on how people rushed into selling on the first day with no knowledge of when they would receive their money!

Acorrding to my share account the money has been sent to RM on the 17th So they are gaining interest on it for 3 weeks! I'm not surprised though.

Well this is what I received in my email when selling my shares.

Net proceeds from taxable sales (after deduction of income tax, NI and the dealing fee) will be paid to your salary bank account by your payroll on the next available pay date following settlement. If the proceeds reach payroll after the cut-off date, your proceeds will be paid in the following pay period. Please note that sales of non UK listed stocks may take significantly longer.

Not sure how they can hold them for three weeks.

Totally agree. It wouldn't surprise me if they are holding on to our money so it makes the November results look rosier. I'm very sceptical about the sky report that hardly any posties have sold too, there's been little or no information from rm on how to sell the shares,Rmtv seems to have actively avoided the issue. I know of at least 15 that have sold and the others are waiting until next week. Good luck to the people that have kept them though, from my various experiences of free shares the best time to sell is the first chance you get.

Selling shares has nothing to do with RM or RMTV, it's upto the individual to read the information online and make their own minds up .
