Sorry I must have missed where TS said he saw the courier using it. I thought he presumed. Either way it was not a Royal Mail van!
Royal mail will have trademarked a specific colour of red as well as the livery for mail and parcels only. The average Joe would not be able to determine the shades of red however.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Yes, not just 'red' as indicated on all Royal Mail's leaflets etc. but 'a specific shade of red'.Pat Ostman wrote:Sorry I must have missed where TS said he saw the courier using it. I thought he presumed. Either way it was not a Royal Mail van!

With Tyler Smith mistaking it for a Royal Mail van that courier's van would though have been that shade of red, most likely an ex RM van sold with the branding removed.
'Royal Mail', a shade of red, the criciform and certain of their products are trade marks, each of which are such individually.
You don't see DHL, TNT, etc with red vans and Royal Mail could challenge that courier if they so wished.
Incidentally much of my van is so faded that it's no longer the proper shade of red.
