From his replies and, in part, lack of them, the closest this guy gets to a sanger is when an Aussie mate cooks him sausages for his morning sandwich.DGP1 wrote:You're the one who started out angry, not us. Or was it you forgot your pen to fill out the collection card, or did you forget to bring them beacuse of the long hours you have to do?
PS. My delivery is 5 1/2 hours but add on all the indoor work and travelling time then it takes me up to 8 hours plus
PPS. Not so long ago there was a Panorama programme that shadowed a postie, the former Royal Marine PTI found that he was struggling to do the delivery, so while you're sitting around in some sanger we're out in all weathers (without decent uniform) delivering to ungrateful people like you.

Re: Royal mail, worst delivery service ever
I'm a Booty (royal Marine and no i don't play any instruments) and english language is not my strong point but hey not much need for grammer in my line of work.
Anyway enough of this banter what is the procedure for finding my parcels or making a claim,
I am missing £90 worth of jewellry, and suntan lotion value £10

Get the person who actually paid for the postage to start making the claim because he's the customer, not you. But, you could always try Twitter (RM@Twitter I think) and start from there.

Move to a better area ,if you can find one that will have youKnockerbocker wrote:It seems to be common practice for royal mail staff to leave parcels on people's doorsteps. They do this on a regular basis. Recently I have had 2 parcels go astray. Royal mail claim the items were delivered. They told me to check with my neighbours. I told them to check with my neighbours I paid for a postal service that has failed. All parcels I have had delivered from private couriers, Leave a calling card stating the parcel is either at a neighbours address or collect from depot. Is it not to difficult for royal mail to follow these procedures.
Would like to hear other opinions and help on how to get my parcels or compensation for the goods, or if there is a governing body that monitors royal mail.
To be honest I think we should get rid of royal mail, and all there staff that are wingers and moan when they have to do a few extra hours. they have no pride in their work nor the fact that they bear the crown and should be an example for other courier firms to follow.
Bye

Hi just read your post and wanted to say a few things, got to say I admire your commitment to the mission in afghanistan, I mean volunteering to stay on for an extra 2 whole months from the standard 6 month tour shows real courage! I suppose that's why when the last commando unit returned from afghanistan in october and you stayed on till december that your Superiors decided to give you 4 months off as a reward!! Well done your doing us proud!
Oh and got to ask, being a commando, what was the underwater knife fighting course like?

Shouldn't the suntan lotion have been before, not "after a 8 month tour in Afghanistan", and is jewellry permitted with the uniform ?knockerbocker1 wrote:I'm a Booty (royal Marine and no i don't play any instruments) and english language is not my strong point but hey not much need for grammer in my line of work.

I wanted to know the real reason he came on here gobbing off because i know it's nothing to do with a few fictitious doorstepped packets.

Yes, and most likely an ex postie sacked for doorstepping parcels.stokes11eg wrote:fishtank wrote:You should have left him on teebs.
