isn't a black ink stamp a giveaway on stamps that have been used. sometimes the edge of the franker catches the tinyest portion of the stamp corner tut..
other times a biro squiggle or the franker misses it completely. i should know, i've done it myself lollllllll

bet you they'll find a way around the tamperproof stamp. pair of scissors, stanley knife. kettle. and a bit of bostik rofL

My problem is then when I peeled a stamp out of a book of stamps, half of one of the oblong patches was left behind. So this presumably means that i can't use the stamp and the stamp for which I paid good money is now useless.

Nevertheless, I will peel of the half left behind and use the stamp and assume that the letter is delivered without a charge being made. If any charge is made, I will be claiming compensation as in no way am I commiting any offence just using the stamp which I paid for.
