I'm proud of the integrity and loyalty of the miners. Some people here clearly don't have the backbone or care for their fellow humans to stand for their rights.
Also, Simon is no communist he is a capitalist. We are not cogs in the great machine, we are raw materials to be smashed, bent and killed in to profit.

Re: Posties fight for our future
Clearly after what seems an absolute eternity of talks with the glimmer of hope because Simon Thompson was sidelined in the latest episode of talks these three narcissists at the top who’ve signed off Royal Mail’s latest letter to the workforce have been calling the shots all along! Over the last six months I’ve listened to conversations which have included the words “miners strike” let’s just hope it doesn’t go the way the mining industry went!

Redlen's response:
Actually, I measure it frequently. It remains well within average, according to the national office of statistics. Your views about it been otherwise are pure Stalinist and I won't stand for it. I will continue to post on this forum because that's my right.
At the end of the day you are just postmen [sic].You deserve nothing more than what's been offered and probably a lot less.

I disagree with postman stick together. Its dog eat dog everyone for themselves . Moaning and groaning about what others are doing. If one person gets an extra 100 drops and someone else gets 102 all hell breaks loose. Most problems in offices lie with the rounds are so unequal. And the reason is the I'm alright attitude. Collectively sticking together? Rubbish.

Yeah I agree, it's all kicking off at ours because someone thinks they've got an unfair chunk of the new drops (which have yet to be bolted on, so they're still on the old frame) and he won't accept the reasoning that he's got a chunk of single slots and the "small bits" he is moaning about others having are double slots with the same amount of drops as he hasWullie10 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 15:42I disagree with postman stick together. Reminds me of the time when Trump responded publicly to a silly comment about the small size of his hands. It diminished him for being fragile enough to feel it necessary to reply and gave credibility to the truth of the original comment. Dear oh dear boys. Thanks for making me smile anyhow.ArchieG wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 15:26Redlen's response:

Not great from mr ward again today. The weakest the union has ever been in a time when it’s members needed it the most.
Proper shafting.
I just hope they give the work force the vote on which deal to accept now. Can move on then.

A union is only as good as it's members. Are you a member of the CWU?FilthyBloke wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 19:48Not great from mr ward again today. The weakest the union has ever been in a time when it’s members needed it the most.
